Today has been a really good day.

I bought a new wardrobe. I went down two sizes. I’m feeling inspired so I’m going to write Influence.

And my date last night was amazing (until I got cockblocked, but I ain’t even mad).

Any tips for writing Brittana Fanfics? :l I'm completely stumped.

This is the second time this has appeared in my ask, and I really don’t know how to answer it.

Some people are writers, some people aren’t. I can’t really give you more than that, because without an idea, or a direction, you’ve given me nothing to go on. I can’t give you that. It’s on you to start.

If you have an idea, you write it down. You can’t force it out, because it will FEEL forced to the readers. Keep in character, even with an AU, because if Santana doesn’t act like Santana then it’s not really a Brittana fanfic, is it?

Read good fanfic to get an idea of how fanfic is supposed to look. Nightshifted, Random Flores, NovelConcepts, Evershadow, Lynnearlington, Gilligankane, etc. Start there.

This is really all I can say. I can’t tell you how to be a writer. If you want to write, then just do it. If you feel like a writer, then you are a writer. Fanfic is just another genre.
